“New Year Khalatnik” by the band Neschastny Sluchai is a cozy festive concert-party where music, improvisation and direct interaction with the audience create the feeling of an intimate home gathering. Fans come to the show dressed in homewear – bathrobes and even nightgowns; some change in the restroom before the concert, while the boldest arrive from home already dressed like that. “A real Khalatnik is when you sing, and people around you are talking, drinking and snacking: out of 20 people, ten sing with you, five are listening, and five are slicing sausage and pouring drinks.” The format means an informal atmosphere, lots of humor and beloved songs presented in a special New Year mood.
