A serious incident happened early this morning in Kato Polemidia. A car parked in an apartment complex caught fire around 1:50 a.m. The fire led to quick action from the emergency services.
Police officers arrived to investigate, while the Fire Service worked to control the flames. Sadly, the car, owned by a 56-year-old woman, was completely destroyed.
The area was blocked off and secured until morning for a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire. The Limassol CID is in charge of the investigation.
